Funny side story. After explaining to the missus this was not a "Sturgis in Taos" event and obtaining my kitchen pass, I went to make reservations at the Kachina Lodge, except I mis-dialed the lodge number (800-588-4462). Well, let's just say I thought Beemerdon had really gone over the top on accommodations.

I snapped that pic last year after CFO on the way to Copper Harbor. Some fun roads up that way for sure.
It was a BIG bonus on leg 3 of the 09 IBR. From Santa Ana, CA to there (with a few stops along the way of course).
