GM: Extremely Photogenic!!!

How long does it take for some to learn that Dolly doesn't like it when you blow in her ear(s) Looks like Dolly got the best of Skooter!!

Since I am not healing up fast enough to do the kind of riding I need to do, it appears you will have to take me off the list. I just canceled my Kachina reservations. Cheryl said she'd extend the same rate to me if I want to come by myself at a later date.... nice lady.

I hope somebody does this at Taos again next year. I really like that area and regret having to bail for the second time.

Dear zzzzip, We of SW-FOG are very sad to hear the recuperation from your surgery did not proceed as you hoped it would. All of us are pulling for you to be back in the saddle very soon! 2011 may be in Rocky Point, Mexico the first weekend in October.

I've been asked by an anonymous SW-FOG 2010 Attendee (it was SkooterG!) if there was a posted Schedule of Activities. So, only cast in stone Events are Saturday's Dinner and the two day rides:

Thursday, Arrival: Get together for cocktails as the crowd gathers; and dinner plans, either individual or group, can be formulated with help of locals such as Patch308, HotRodZilla and NMRoadRunner.

Friday, day ride at 8AM or day/spa/shopping/excursions in Taos itself: I have volunteers, mostly the gentlemen above, myself, Big-D and pinhead who will lead you out on a six+ hour ride of just over 250+ miles; we will get you back to start FJR cocktail hour. However, some of the ladies are going to plan activities in Taos itself; with the help of the Concierge of the Best Western Kachina Lodge.

Friday Evening, Once again: I suggest the short walk into the Taos Square for dining and drinking; drifting back to the fire pit by the pool, for our traditional FJR Forum drinking, BS and yakking sessions.

Saturday, another day ride at 8AM, led by the same cast of characters mentioned above. But, if you have never been to Taos before: Please consider hot-air ballooning or horseback riding. Once again, Cheryl of the Kachina can assist you in booking any Taos activity that catches your fancy. This day ride will be over a different route, but will also be just 6+ hours and 250+ miles. Drinks at 4PM.

Saturday evening, after our Sunset Cocktail Hour, will be Dinner Finale of SW-FOG 2010. And again after our group supper, there will be drinking, conversations and tall tales told around the fire pit.

Sunday morning, after our discounted breakfast that Big-D scored for our FJR Forum Group, everybody will be heading to home; or in the case of the Canadians and others, on to NAFO in Tennessee.

Tell Donna to count Kyndall in for that spa day thing whenever it happens. I owe her an anniversary present. :good: :eek:k:

You got it, Dave! I'm calling my Sweetie as soon as she gets home from work at five and she will then be calling GSJane, GregM's girlfriend. Maybe Carrie R. will want to join Kyndall and the other girls.

I just received an important message from our esteemed friend and hermano Bust-A-Nut Joker. I've attached the last line he wrote me in his IM.

quote: tell that horses *** Don Stanely he owes you ten beers an I'll pay him when hell freezes over.............. now go :****: yourself unquote:

He mentioned BeemerDon would understand and be able to translate the meaning of his message!

I'm just glad Ol' Bust is in his typical high-spirited self as always!!

Let me see, I always enjoy a nice cold Tecate!! :yahoo:

https://weather.aol.com/forecast/7-day/us/nm/taos/id/87571 Current Taos, NM weather forecast for SW-FOG 2010 is mostly sunny with isolated thunderstorms, High of 80 and low of 45 degrees Fahrenheit, can someone please translate this into the Canuckian language for The Three Amoebas!!! As I have previously mentioned here, pack your light rain gear; there is ALWAYS a light rainfall between 3pm and 5pm in the lofty Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range.

What that means is it's ******* cold in the mornings and some people may freeze their little balls off. It will gradually warm up to the point that mid-afternoon will be warm enough to make a person sweat their balls off. Then, it will cool down again starting about 6pm and stay cool for the entire night...At which time, a person may drink their balls off. Either way, a couple of people coming will probably be leaving without any balls.

You know AJ, I still wish Bustanut joker was attending SW-FOG, The *******! But, unless Mizz Bust gave him back his balls before getting here, he would be balls less on arrival and balls less on departure! jes' sayin'

Well, taking a head count we had 42 bikes signed up for the 2010 SW-FOG, with at least one additional rider Pinheads wife (Kyndall). So far there have been four individuals that have stated they will not be able to make this years SW-FOG. Although sorry when anyone decides they will not be able to make the trip for whatever reason, there are always circumstances when one may not be able to make a ride. I know this has happened to me a couple of times.

There are others that made it last year that will not be able to make it this year. I will miss seeing Beemerdon and Niehart all curled up together in the hot-tub with a drink in each hand.
