I will only slab by court order.

The reason I'm taking two days to get to Breaks is so I can

enjoy some of the best roads the East has to offer.

Slabbing would be like skipping a gourmet dinner just to get

an ice cream sandwich at the gas station.

While I certainly enjoy everyone's company, I guess

I will just have to wait until Friday evening.
I have the same dilemma. Google has me at 11 hours to HMSP by slabbing 3/4 of the way so that's out. I will probably probably stay somewhere near Breaks or a little east of there for Thursday night.

Hey Bryan - which way are you coming from IN. I could meet you in Louisville if you're going though there.
Will-I'll be heading down us 421 and will get on I 64 around frankfort ky. I dont plan on doin much slab. It looks like you have a 6 hour ride to frankfort and I have 4 hour to frankfort. We can meet up there if you want.

Same boat here. Just counting down the days.

Unfortunately, Ed won't be able to make it. Being a single dad with two girls in their late teens... something has come up and he needs to go into full dad mode.

No matter. See ya soon!

Oh, hell yeah I'm in :yahoo: ...can't "F'n wait! I was just hoping to see a little more interest. But I'm sure that we'll have a great time with or witout more folks in attendence

I hadn't looked at this thread before now, but it just so happens that my better half will be in NYC with her duaghter that weekend, leaving me to fend for myself...Only 9 hours from here to there...I could take that Friday off...

Got room for one more??

Of course!
Most excellent, count me in! This will by my first moto-camping trip.
This will be my first try at moto-camping, too. I've been to the appalachian camping trip before, just didn't camp. Should be quite the adventure - if I recall correctly from a couple years ago we will experience cigar smoking, scotch drinking, drunken Canadians foraging for beer in the middle of the night, and expletives randomly yelled across the campgrounds towards a guy named Bob! What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, there's some pretty good riding in the area, too. :yahoo:

This might work. I'll send you a PM. I'm not sure how early I'm leaving Thursday morning yet.

Yeah, Hogan will be there. I am sure he will bring the shirt!

Looks like it's official. I'm bowing out of the camping weekend and doing the SE Ohio Ramble instead. Reason? I booked myself into the FAST Race school at Shannonville for May 30th. Not a good idea to book off 4 days for Virginia one week and then 3 the next.

No doubt I'll see you all at EOM in NC!
