Don't you need to know a motorcycle nut in Moab?

The kind with a house, a garage, and tools?

Here is a great opportunity for the ultimate Fly and Buy, because there is no better time to ride the Southwest than the fall.

2012 Yamaha FJR 1300 ABS.
Barely ridden, better than excellent condition.
The bike does not have a mark on it, so you don't have to worry about anything related to the bike being not as represented.
Factory heated grips, ABS, the traditional Yamaha Cobalt Blue color.
Hard bags with liners.
One owner, never been down, never been ridden hard, never had a pillion.
Meticulously maintained; have all the records.
It is very well set up with
a: Frame sliders (R&G Racing)
b: Supplemental brake and turn signals (Admore Light Bar)
c: Battery tender
d: Fender Extender
e: Suspension dialed in by KFG Susupension
AND
f: I just put a brand new set of Pilot Road 4 GTs on it. I got 10,500 miles from the stock Metzelers, so you should be good for more than that with PR4 GTs.
Mileage is 12,300.

Price is $8700.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested or have any questions on the logistics of getting to Moab (like if I am going to pick you up at the airport in Grand Junction - in a car, thank you very much - etc.).

Thanks for looking.

Lowered the price.

And here are a couple of videos of the bike on Independence Pass in Colorado this summer.

I'm the slow poke in front of the camera.

(I'd love to know how to post a youtube as a screen and not a link.)

Going down the Pass:

Howdy,

I'm surprised you haven't sold it yet, maybe you'll have to bring it back to Seattle. That blue would look good in the rain!

Ah well, there are certainly worse places to have an FJR than Moab!

Maybe I'll ride down to 4 corners this weekend.

I have to be in Poulsbo on Oct 21st.

I could always deliver ...

Of course, you'd miss the amazing riding down here, but just for this year.

CO Route 141 is the best motorcycle road ever conceived, and half way between Delta and Naturita is the best automobile museum ever assembled.

And it's an easy loop from here.

I used to work munitions recovery and remote sensing, and Arctic engineering.

These days, in my third career, I work nuclear.
