- There will be 2 categories, “Seasonal Riders” and “Year Round Riders”.

“Year Round Riders” will be your total mileage for the year.

“Seasonal Riders” will be 6 consecutive months of your choosing.

- Starting Point: At your start of the contest you must take a picture of your odometer with a cell phone or news paper in the same picture showing the date. Once you post the picture that will be your official start.

- Mileage updates should be posted up on a monthly or bi-monthly basis using the same method as your starting point.

-Include your year to date miles and any other (monthly?, quarterly?) mile facts you wish

(Might be cool if you want to determine what month of the year was the highest or lowest miles, etc.)

Year Round Riders can start the clock on Jan 1

Good Luck and Good Riding...

most importantly...

LET'S RIDE SAFE AND BE CAREFUL OUT THERE...

25,571 mi in 2010

25,989 miles in 2011

Dog gone it Skoot... I think you may have slipped by me for 2011.

I don't have any record of mileage except 56,000 in June, and I ended up with 90,862.

AND this year I want to keep the miles DOWN. So ... I'm out once again.

If I count the Dakar this year... hmmmm,

Well Iron Butt riders don't enjoy their miles anyway-

(Taking cover in Florida) ;)

I did about 12,000 in 2011. Starting 2012 with 70,9??. I forgot exactly what it was on January 1. I am definitely a year round rider, though that is only by the grace of God as I ride no with ice and snow.

Sorry, I thought I could post a photo here but my photo bucket apparently is not allowed and I can't find the "attach" button that I thought this site had.

Oh well, I am starting 2012 with 70,936 on Jan 4.

Mike - You really need to find another hobby besides forum posting. You and Beemerdons, geesh... :p

I went form 60K to 18K, so I have -42K.

I'm not sure how many miles I put in my old Feej, but my new one I put 7K on it in 2011.

Bump

It's about time some of us seasonal riders begin posting our starts.

Will be posting mine in the next day or so, first off, I had to find this thread again.

Mike

Still trying to find my perfect FJR, but have logged 2300 miles this year on my Versys. I hope to be doing longer trips with the wife when I can get a FJR in mid-May.

I've been slacking. First update post of the year. Also been slacking on miles ridden this year compared to last.

99,715 - 91,083 = 8,632 for the year so far. :(

1/3 of the through the year already.

I'm at nearly 9,000 miles for the year. By far my best riding year yet!! I'm pumped - I can easily do 15K this year.

May was a really good month thanks to the TLAE rally!

6301 miles! And to think about 1/3 of those were put on in less than 24 hours!

June12012.jpg

14,213 for the year. Still slacking there.

no way am I gonna match my 2010 27k or 2011 28k with the bike in the shop 3 months during the spring's cooler months for best riding temps here in the deep south

20k is the goal...a lot depends on trips...there's the Southern PGR Gathering in TN, EOM in NC, and hopefully a slew of weekend trips to add miles. Riding truly is my therapy...riding miles every week allows me to half my necessary meds !!!
