I don't know the poster and have never seen the bike. I merely ran across this post on CL today and of course, if it's for real, is a smokin' deal. Thought I'd pass it along....

Many, many thanks to FJRBandit who went above and beyond to help a fellow forum member inspect a bike for sale.

we almost had it worked out where he would ride the bike to chicago and i would buy him a plane ticket home. unfortunately, a transport guy that i know is in the neighborhood this weekend to bring the bike back.

After I saw that baby, I started thinkin' myself...... hmmm, if Jr doesn't get this.... hmmmm.....

The seller is a heck of a nice guy. Looking forward to riding over and having a beer or two with him in the future. Although I didn't know him previously, turns out he's a couple years older than me and he delivered the paper to our house growing up. Even more trippy, my buddy and I took over the same paper route after he moved on... small world!
