2013 FJR Please help me with Givi E55 Fitment

I've made a deal and hope to trade my FZ6 for the new FJR next week. I'm trading with the V35 side cases, but keeping my E55 top case. Couple of questions:

Do I need to keep the Givi plate that comes with the E55? (Which would leave the bars on the FZ6 looking like they're missing something)

What Bars/rack do I need to mount the Topcase to avoid the subframe issues?

I'm on the Givi site, but can't figure it out. Thanks!....Jeff.

Edited to add: Is it this? SR357, assuming 2013 fitment is the same, and it appears to also give me the plate?

I've got a '13 FJR on order but have started buying stuff for it. I've already bought the Givi SR357, it does not come with the mounting plate. You need to use the one that came with your E55 Top Case.

I have the same givi sr357 mount on my 2007 FJR and it came with the monokey mounting plate for any of the givi monokey cases to mount to.

Go with the SR357 mounting system. This will save the rear rack and add some strength to the subframe.

Even going this way, I'd still be wary of carrying too much weight in the trunk. I use mine for the light, bulky to pack items.

Ok, I'm an idiot, maybe next time I should look a little closer. The mounting plate does come with the SR357. Since I don't have the bike yet, it's still in the package.

No worries and I appreciate your reply! It doesn't hurt to double check, and your first reply caused me to research further. Thank you. Now if my bike just comes in next week as promised....! I've already pulled accessories off my FZ6 trade and have a sales thread on the FZ6 forum....
