Race coverage this year will be on Velocity channel 364 (DISH) starting June 2nd at 7pm pacific time. A timed race done on public roads around the island, this event is truly spectacular. It is amazing that these racers can go so fast with curbs, walls, trees and spectators just inches away. ENJOY!

Anyone know if Velocity has done this before? According to the schedule I've seen, it comes on at 10:00p EST for 1 hour. So it won't be live, and edited to a 1 hour showing. I'll be pissed if there are 25 minutes of commercials, 20 minutes of interviews, and only 15 minutes or so of actual racing in the 1 hour show. I just don't want them to "ESPN" the show.

I wanna watch them go faster and faster and faster and faster......

It's every day that week, not just a single one-hour show, same-day coverage of the events.

The coverage I saw last year, if I remember that far back, was 4 one-hour shows, a week or so after the event, maybe longer, with each show covering a different category, i.e. superbikes, sidecars, supersport, superstock. There was a brief blurb for the electrics somewhere in there.

Milky Quayle giving us a little course refresher, through the camera of Johnny Barton:

Listen closely at about 4:25 – Milky says “this is my left hander”. Here is why he gets to call it “his”:

No other race like it in the world, other than the Irish open road racing series.

Wfooshee, I got it recording every night, I just wasn't sure how they were going to edit it into 1 hour. Hopefully they don't muck it up.

Panman, love that 1st video, thanks!

I thought it was done well last night with the coverage. The guys hanging on the back have serious nerve, on those sidecars!

Quick question, are there any Americans riding in this? Haven't seen any yet.
