it'll be a long wait for 2016.... My bet is that it will be blue - haven't tossed out that color again for quite some time.

The Wait will be many months from now, I'm doubting that they will change anything but color - they really got it right this time with zero issues.

Congrats on deciding on the FJR - its a fantastic machine - you'll be making quite the upgrade in performance....

Plus you can buy some upgrades for the bike that won't make your eyes pop out of their sockets - coming off the Harley perspective.

That is disgusting. Why announce it here?

Some of you Gen1 guys are just strange.

Well, not only are you mixed up on meanings of words in the English language...worse yet, you are mixed up on what a Gen 1, 2 , or 3 is. That's ignorant and a long-timer like you should know better. Could be an offense worthy of banning in my book. Gen 1...HA!

I'm with Mark.

And for the record, all three of us (Wheaton, Fred W, and Redfish Hunter) are all Gen 3 guys.

Just that two of us have the 1st Gen experience to appreciate the Gen 3.

... and I thought I was the one with the Gay Purply Bike.

I'm doing it wrong!

LOL....thanks guys. I should have my cash for the Hardley this weekend and can seriously talk dollars and cents with the bike shops. Really looking forward to getting back on an FJR. Truly missed my 06.....badly. If I get a 14' model, it will probably be an A model, since that seems to be all that's left that I've found so far.

Let me know if anyone runs across a 14ES available.

No, I am pretty good with the English language. You can type whatever you want, I can still twist your words to mean whatever I want.

And yes, I know you are now a Gen 3 guy and both you and Fred W have passed your Gen 1s on to your respective sons. (Good Job on that by the way!) but you two freaks are always going to be Gen 1 guys to me.

But, as Fred W pointed out, all 3 of us are now Gen 3 guys. I guess that means that I am with you and Fred. If that does not make you feel a bit sick...

I've been asking for OTD price and I'm getting pricing all over the board. Some of the really low prices listed end up being quite a bit higher than what they advertise. Dealers with the higher prices do not want to give me a breakdown of their added prices. Others are willing to share. I'm still searching but really have to wait until the guy picks up the Harley and hands over the cash. Hopefully that will happen this weekend. I don't mind doing a fly and ride to save a few thousand dollars.

Thanks again for links to the bikes and advice. Keep sharing!

Admins moved it to NEPRT because it became NEPRT really quickly. If you are up for a fly n buy, many have had great success with D&H in Alabama I think it is...someone can confirm. That wouldn't be so far to go to get a good deal, and you could map out a really fun route home.

In the past, D&H sells their allotment as soon as they get them. They are a favorite here, because of pricing and customer service. Still, might be worth the call.

Nope... not strange at all. They do business verbally in person or on the phone, like people used to do.

Pick up the phone and give them a call. If they can get you one they'll let you know and they'll let you know what your out the door price will be.
