I know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy..............

That is selling a 2014 FJR with the electronic suspension for $14,000. Only 530 miles. Completely stock. Located just a bit north of San Francisco.

It is a Demo bike from a Yamaha Rep. I saw this FJR several weeks ago and came *this* close to buying it myself. Just not the right time for me.

PM or email me @ [email protected] and I will pass on his contact info.

This sounds like an excellent opportunity for you Californians who have to buy within the state. Yes, it is a California model.

BTT.

I am surprised this hasn't gotten more interest? I thought this was an incredible deal. Especially for the Californians held hostage to needing to buying within state.

Why do Californians have to buy within the state? I know there is Cali models, but what exactly does that entail? Educate this flat lander please

Because if we buy a bike from out of state, we can't register it in California unless it has at least 7500 miles at the time of sale. It applies only to non-california models, I think.

California models contain additional emissions hardware. I believe in the FJR that includes of an evaporated vapor recapture setup.

Is this the ad on craigslist? There is a demo model listed, mileage slightly different, and I don't recall seeing the specific model listed. It looked like a dealer ad to me.

I just made an inquiry and the bike was sold a week ago to a gentleman from Santa Barbara for $13,500.

Somebody got a hell of a deal.
