Art, did you take delivery of the new ES yet?I got a call from Roseville Yamaha today telling me they just finished prepping my new ES. I gave them a deposit over the phone and it will be ready for me to pick up early this coming week.

I would expect the ES to be in high demand. They probably will sell at MSRP if not over in some cases. This is what happens in a free market economy when you come out with something the buying public sees as highly desirable, but allot the distribution numbers to dealerships to limit the supply.Over $18 large? Must have quite the fees added and selling for list price?I'm so proud of myself. Went and saw an ES in the dealer today. Sure was pretty. But at the end of the day..my 09 is just abt paid off...and the sticker on that 14 was well over $18 large. I think ill wait a few years.
I'm in no particular hurry just want to be sure I get the 2014ES as I really want the red!!
Kind of the inverse of what happened with the AE. Now we will see if the ES actually proves to be 'highly desirable' or if it's just the color RED.I would expect the ES to be in high demand. You guys can laugh all you want, but for me the red color is more interesting than the fancy suspension. I think that ES is going to be one more thing that can break and will be very expensive to fix. Time will tell.Kind of the inverse of what happened with the AE. Sorta with ya there. I'm assuming aftermarket springs and valving for the forks will come along, not too worried about the electronics failing, but who knows. The issue I have is the rear... you are stuck with that shock and it's servo whatever it is, and if it goes, what do you do then...... Whereas on an 'A', I can put on a GenII suspension both ends and have choices for aftermarket stuff. An ES aftermarket rear shock is likely to be expensive....... and as I mentioned before, I don't see myself needing to play a lot with suspension settings or bothered by stopping for a minute to dial up or down some rear preload. You guys can laugh all you want, but for me the red color is more interesting than the fancy suspension. Understood. I am interested in the ES feature with red as a bonus!! Y.E.S. will be a must,I would expect the ES to be in high demand. They probably will sell at MSRP if not over in some cases. The 2014 "A" model is red too. Just sayin...
I think that falls under "Licensing and Permit fees."Can you finance a divorce in your bike loan?
I know a local guy who has a really nice '07 he may be willing to part with. Think about it. Less than a '14, well taken care of, ready to run.The dealership in Baton Rouge called me today. Twice. They have a 2014 on the sales floor. They had promised to call me when they got one. They kept their end of the deal, now I am obligated to at least go look. Can you finance a divorce in your bike loan?

I have a real bike. I just don't love it as much as I used to.Life is short. FIND the dollars. It's time you rode a REAL bike.
What you've got there is a bad case of puppy love.Honestly I am sick to my stomach right now. This '14 FJR is gorgeous.
The bike he has already is a real bike.Life is short. FIND the dollars. It's time you rode a REAL bike.
