Price now set at $10K. The craigslist add will still be set at 10,500, but anyone contacting me through this forum will get the lower price. The bike now has the insurance removed and is just taking up garage space.

SouthernCruizer posted: if you weren't 800 miles away, I'd definitely be taking a closer look at it. Nice price! Good luck with sale.
I'm calling you out, brother: 800 miles is a one-day ride on an FJR. Of course, a fly-n-ride to SC would be problematic, as I think there are only two airports in the entire state.

(Easy, ya'll. I grew up in Due West, SC, for 15 years. One of the best places in the country to spend your childhood.)

My son is stationed at Shaw. It'd be perfect for him. Unfortunately, every young airman wants (and he owns) a Harley. The tiny town outside Shaw had 4 billboards, at least that I encountered. All four were HD ads. They know their market. My son does get cool points for buying his in Germany and shipping it to Shaw. Great bike great price. I've only got 2.5 years warranty left on mine. At 55K miles, I'm on track to meet my goal of hitting 100,000 before the warranty ends. I'll probably trade it on another FJR then.

Unfortunately, i still work for a living, so that is not an ez option at this point. However, in 3 1/2 months, that all comes to an end, as RETIREMENT will be my game. Then I will be in full search mode for my next FJR.

Dropping the price again. Now willing to part with the bike for $9500.00. According to what I'm seeing on Cycle Trader and and few other place, I'm really low on this price. Spread the word, no need in this bike sitting in my garage when someone could be enjoying it.

If I could sell my 08 quickly. I would most likely have jumped on this. But when it's 115 outside. Nobody is really eager to come look.

My son is looking for a gently used FJR. This is a little newer than he was looking for and I'm not sure what color he prefers but I will run the information past him. The craigslist adds have expired so there isn't a whole lot of info. What is the mileage, and condition (any damage or scratches)?
