I had a 1987 R100RT in the from about 2000-2007. I got tired of being told 've no vats good for you! This bike required lots of maintenance. Once the main needle, made of aluminum, become worn as the clip was made of steel. With the needle dancing all over the bike ran like hell until I figured out the problem and replaced the two bit needle.
Got an email today saying the motor and related pieces are ready to ship back here to Oregon. I guess I'm going to have to figure out how it goes back together. At least I have books with pictures. We like pictures.
