Actually 26,200 (before my ride home tonight) but who's counting...
Bought in April 2007 so have had the bike 1 1/2 years. Commute 120 miles round trip 9 months of the year here in NJ. My average speed for the trip most days, including some Holland Tunnel traffic at night leaving Manhattan is probably 65mph so most times i'm running 85+. There's nothing like 40 minutes of 85 to 95 mph wind to soothe the mind.
I'm getting a new job only 20 miles from home in another week so some of the fun is going to end for now. I'll probably start riding on weekends again! Now i just leave it in the garage Fri night to Mon am...
Maybe, maybe after riding these shorter more country-road commutes, i'll want a lighter twin cyclinder bike but for what i've been doing, high speed slab, the FeeJeR has been just the best.
Time soon to leave in the shop for the valve check and TBS i guess...
Cheers all.
