Hi I'm new to the board but I want to post up a ride that incorporates a lot of different local groups. The ride is the 3 pass blast and it goes over Snoqualmie pass, Blewitt pass and Steven's pass. This ride has been going for about 10 years and can range from 30 bikes to over a hundred depending on the weather. Riders leave in groups so it's not one long train.
ride date: Saturday 5/19/2012
The meet up is at Ken's truck stop off I-405 in North Bend. There is plenty of room for bikes to stage up, a few gas stations and a restaurant there. Kick stands up at 10:00
We stop in Cashmere at the Country Boy's BBQ. They plan on this every year and are ready for the group. Service is pretty quick and it gives us a chance to visit and hang out.
After lunch people leave in different Directions and times but most go home via hwy 2 Steven's pass. There are several groups that come from the South Sound so they have been taking a different way back as well.
I just wanted to post this up in case anyone was interested.
Scott 2006 FJR1300 Blue I have had this bike for 3 weeks now!! Woo Hoo
A few of the groups that go and have posted this up on their boards are the VTXOA (VTX group of Washington) North Sound Riders, South Sound Riders, Around the Sound Riders, a couple of chapters from the Goldwing group, Cascade Riders group.
