The new ES is cheaper than the one with 3100 miles??
It might be one that was picked up on another dealer going out of business sale. Some of those are almost scratch and dent sort of deals.

I just looked at the 2013 demo again today. It is just like new with 5800 miles on it. Tires, engine and drive shaft oil were changed at 4400 miles. The only way you can tell it is used is by the wear on the peg sliders. The demos come with a new warranty also. The factory Yamaha demo's seem to be excellent.

I have not seen 2014 demo yet.

Careful Jim ^^^^ might cost you some $$$.

With over 60k on my 09, why wait until it is worthless in another 30 or 40k miles? I'd like to try an ES and compare it to my Penske/GP Suspension set up - just for the fun of it. I'd also like to try out the suspension in the different modes. I'd like to have a lower mileage FJR going into retirement. I like the red ones and I like the idea of cruise control.

Of course I thought I'd like going on a Dual Sport ride in Mexico and you know how that worked out. Buying an ES may bring a monsoon my way. What do I know

Hmmm...seems with all the "likes" it's time for a '14ES!

Hope Robin gets the soundcheck right. I saw him locally last year and actually walked out. The guy's amazing, but all I got was a wall of noise. Bummer

Nothing but the fool and me......
