I just installed my autocom and was going to hook up the zumo 450 but I can't figure out which cable I need. Mybe I over looked which one in the book . I just can't seem to find it. Will any 3.5 - 4.0 mm plug work or do I need a certain one?

Thanks,

Tim

Tim,

I'm not the expert on this but I know it works.

Assuming the 450 has the same hookup as the 550, I purchased a 3.5 Isolated Stereo lead, part# 1314.

This plugs into my Zumo and then into the Autocom (I have an older version known as a Smart7) at the music port. My Autocom has one other port for a phone. The radio control (for bike to bike) is a separate connection but I regress. You may be able to use a simple cord from say Radio Shack and save some coin. I just popped for the 1314 ($50). It works as advertised and that's what counts.

Got it from Tulsa Truck Center 918-446-2245.

Can't remember the dude's name but he is the man on Autocom. (remember, that's why they call it Dope)

Do a search and he will pop up.

Good luck

Also,

Look down toward the bottom of the first page of posts and everything is right there.

That's a freebie.

Findin' without searchin'
