6 speed for a Gen 2 ?

Hi Fella's . Been awhile . back a couple years when the Gen 3 came out there was some interest in whether or not it was possible to install the sixth gear assembly from a Gen 3 into the Gen 2 Case . I think I remember someone doing it . What I would like to know is if this has successfully been done ? And if there is a parts list with approximate pricing ? It would be a bonus if there was an instruction tutorial on it as well . Hopefully ,Sliick .
If there is a thread on this subject , it would greatly appreciated if you could clue me in on where I could find it . Thanks so much in advance !

I think I remember someone doing it .

I distinctly remember somebody talking about it, not doing it. Let's not re-litigate it since there's an existing thread on it. I found in less than 15 seconds of searching on the term "6 speed" and was titled almost the same thing you titled this one.
