Casey Stoner clinched his 7th pole in a row with a last-lap effort, relegating Rossi to 2nd:

Hopefully this translates to anothert epic battle, with no offs. BTW, Stoner is riding with a brace and bandaged wrist to protect a scaphoid fracture.

Interesting how all 4 the top/fastest riders this year have crashed out at some stage - in all cases but Valentino it's the crashes that have done the real damage to championship hopes. I'm on my way out at the moment, but will examine this a little further later.

I'm not a big fan of "Stonah" so I kinda hope Rossi pressures him into another big mistake. If Rossi gets a good start, I'm sure he's going to pull the 'ol "park off his back tire and make him worry" bit that he's so good at. We shall see! Oh, and has Pedrosa TOTALLY dropped off the radar, or what? Aside from the qualifying list, I haven't heard his name in weeks.

Same here. Just checked my recording and it is should record.

Lets hope that it will be at a minimum half as fun as Laguna was.
