It's amost 8pm on a Friday night, and I just got back from a brief jaunt on the Blackbird, filling the main and aux tanks.

It's 102 degrees outside.... At 8pm.

Going for a 600-mile blaze around Washington state tomorrow morning. The forecast calls for a high of 108 degrees here on the floor of the Columbian Basin. Damn, these tires stick well on softening asphalt....

I'm leaving for WFO. It's 64... and decending! Musta got a blast of cool air from Canada (maybe even farther north!). I think the high temp today on our Saddle Sore 1K to SD will be 80. SWEET! Too bad it's only going to be here one day. By Monday it will be 99 in Wyoming. But it's a dry heat....
