Perfect day on the east coast today so I took a little ride around the area where I live in eastern Long Island. It was great, the roads were empty, the beaches were empty....hardly a human in sight. Here are a couple of pics.

Wow nice stuff man! I love the 'no screaming kids' sign.

Amazing isn't it? Early January and no snow. Perfect bike if it got ****** though.

Thanks for sharing,

:jester:

Ahhhh, Montauk... I use'ta motor the Break-A-Way into there for lunch with the Ducklings. Memories. Thanks!

Nice shots Axeman , verry pretty area to live . While working with Airships I got to work out of Republic Airfield in Farmingdale . Wish I had gotten out more and checked out the loca area .

I live about 45 miles from Outer Banks of North Carolina . A visit down there is less hectic during the off season . I'm sure that your shore areas are a little more laid back at this time of year.

Long Island sure is pretty . Makes me want to play tourist there some time .

Ah, life is good. I almost took my old Maxim out this weekend but I got my priorities screwed up and ended up working on my other vehicles instead.

Booful pics. Given your location, I didn't think (that's what I get for trying to think again) that it was possible for you to get that far away from it all and never leave home.

Nice bike too! Glad to see you representin' dem thumpers.

Nice pics, Axe. I was out and about on my Pegaso on Saturday as well, albeit a few hunnert miles north of you.

It was quite warm, in the mid 40's. And all dry roads except for the snow bank meltage. We had a lot of melting and were down to about 6 inches standing.

Funny, I didn't pass a single other motorcyclist. Got a thumbs up from a couple of cagers. But now the roads are fully snow covered again.

Midwinter riding,

the Pegaso ran so sweet.

Long wait till spring now.
