Interesting...

These are my thoughts on it: If you're that worried about gas mileage; so that you think you need a damn hybrid version of a scooter that gets 60-75mpg anyway, then do the world a favor, and shoot yourself... Today, please.

I love the comment this "Lady" (Yeah, Jack MUST be a girl) made:

Jack Lifton

This is not the prelude to the Volt it is in fact the ideal use of the Volt-type power train. I would be very concerned for my safety going even 30 miles an hour in an open "vehicle" such as this, and I sincerely think that only a NASCAR or Indianapolis 500 qualified driver should try this vehicle at 100 MPH, but its a good idea for short commutes in nice climates on dry paved surfaces during the day.

Although he does get points for not liking it, the fact that his reasons are even more feminine than the bike is a serious detriment to his manhood.

I saw the strangest 3 wheeler Saturday in town getting fuel. It was not a custom job either. It had 2 big and wide front tires ( could have been smaller car tires and a single larger tire in the rear. The driver sat in it not on it too. Looked pretty cool, more car than bike in looks to myself anyway. I rode one of the MP3's when they first came out the 250cc model. They are very heavy and slow, no wonder they have a 500cc model now.

He said that you sit in it. That rules out a Spyder. Maybe the T-Rex? Not sure who makes it... but I think that I remember it being set up with the 2 wheels front/ 1 wheel rear configuration. I hear that they are VERY expensive toys.

Edited to add: Is this what you saw?

That was it Can-Am Spyder! Yellow also. I assumed he sat in it the owner was filling it with gas. It appeared to be deep and I assumed it was like a side car. Really cool looking.
