PRESS RELEASE - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
CONTACT: Fred H.

HEADLINE: New '06 FJR Owner to Lead Yamaha

Dallas, Texas, 5/1/2006 - It was announced today that Fred H. of FJRForum.com will immediately become CEO of Yamaha Motor Corporation and oversee design, production, and sales of all motorcycles including the FJR 1300. Because he complained loudly about all the problems on his '06 while casually extolling a few virtues the entire world thought he should be in charge of the company.

Fred said, "I was happy they finally got the heat issue fixed. It was a pain-in-the-*** riding around town in my shorts and flip-flops. My calf hair was getting cooked. Now we need to get to work lightening this pig up so it's better than an R1."

Fred's resume is completely unknown at this time, but it's likely he stayed at a Holiday Inn last night and since he posted at least 11 nitpicks he should be able to run the company just fine.

Fred's longtime neighbor Barney was most supportive about Fred's accumen in diagnosing and fixing problems of others. "We were watching an NFL game just last weekend and from the comfort of Fred's Barcalounger, he was able to easily point out a referee's bad call from slow motion replay and was adamant he could do it better than the **** in the black and white."

No Yamaha employees could be reached for comment, but one from Tokyo e-mailed, "Fred-san is amazing. All of us have flat ***** and we thought the rest of the world was like this. We can't wait to take a mold of his butt and fix the seat to work for everybody else, because his *** must be shaped like the rest of North America."

It's unclear if Fred is moving to Japan where the motorcycles are currently made or if worldwide production is being moved to Fort Worth. Regardless, Mike's daughter commented, "Daddy rules! He said as soon as he fixes the FJR he's going to build me my own spaceship that runs on canola oil."

YAMAHA MOTOR CORPORATION is is a worldwide corporation that manufactures incredible motorcycles including the FJR that now can't tip over because it has training wheels integrated into the frame.

As the new President and CEO of Yamaha, my first order of business is to give myself a big raise and one of every motorcycle, ATV, and Watercraft that Yamaha makes.

My second order will be to have the FJR totally redesigned with the battery on top of a tall mast that is high above the windshield, training wheels and a new color scheme (hot pink). In the interest of saving weight, I will eliminate 3 of the cylinders and get rid of the brakes altogether.

My little ***** brain tells me it will be a smashing sucess. I can hardly wait to unveil it in 07.

Good comeback, fred.....sign me up for the 07. Are you going to have a bun warmer installed? How aboot a vibrating seat? That would really make my millenium.

We're just all surprised you showed up for work today.
You know. I just got that.

Folks around these parts might be under the false impression that I'm a Latino and Ricky Martin's sexier older brother, but it turns out the truth is kind of weirder. Lots of German and British in me with some possible Indian in me (feather, not a dot). Yet I live in a community with over 50% Latino. Our community is having it's rally at 3 p.m. deliberately so students can attend. Gonna leave work early and wander down as an observer. Won't elaborate why since I don't want to go political, but I think I might be a walking condundrum.

Back to Mike and his roast.... :D

Yea, I wondered if the comment was a bit too subtle for this crowd. :haha:

I would add another gripe or two:

1. Fred my like the instrument cluster - but I don't. What is this crap about using only 3/4 of the dial face on the speedo - and having typical everyday speeds in the first 1/4 of the dial? that is bogus.

2. Trip computer - should give you "miles to empty" instead of counting up from 1.7 gallons or whatever it is.

3. beter conspicuity from the rear. brake light and turn signals could be brighter. - perhaps built into the bags, too.

Oh, christ....isn't there another thread for all the crybabies? Something about how the fjr doesn't live up to something or another? My ***** hurts.

It is always such a joy to be part of a motorcycle community forum where folks can share thoughts and information and fixes to problems, especially when the forum adminstrators actually encourage involvement and welcome new members into the fold and folks don't belittle everyone else that posts anything.
I'm just so happy to have found this place.
Thicken your skin and settle in for a good time. The one thing that is nice about the FJR community is the ability to take jabs at each other in fun without having to listen to a bunch of PC whiners lobby for a kinder, gentler world.

Hey Iggy,

did you go to school at Loyola?

would somebody please put a Mexican sombrero on this little guy :yahoo:

so I can use it for Cinco de Mayo

Exception, Political threads ;)

God bless ya, Sparky, you whining, liberal biotch...I couldn't agree with you more. :D

Christ Almighty, God forbid the guy should spend 13K on a product and actually have an opinion about it. Evidently, FredH unless you only have love and kisses and sweet little roses to throw out about your FJR don't bother posting an opinion on here......Its a great bike but I don't get a hard-on every time I look at it or get on it. He has some valid points and while I don't agree with everything he says I certainly can understand that he is entitled to his opinion. So if your "***** hurts", don't read his threads....
