A new FZ6 for my FJR

Just picked up a pretty blue FZ6 on Saturday. Its a blast! Looks like a baby brother to keep the FJR company in the garage. So different from the FJR. Its very comfortable. I am not use to reving a bike to get it moving. The power doesn't even start to come on until 7K. Its a very nice bike. Not a lot of torque, but its acceptable. Now it needs new suspenders. Wilbers shock and front springs.

A lot of people have a FZ1 and an FJR. Thats to close on power for me, so I picked a small bike. The FZ6 only weighs 429lbs empty. You should go check them out. Its a fun little bike for only $7000 OTD.

I love the look of the blue FZ6 next to the FJR. You can certainly tell the family resemblance, and you can see that they would perform very differently. The FZ6 has definitely been on my radar. Pictures are required.

I saw on an FZ6 forum that you can get fairing lowers for the FZ6. That makes em even more related

The FZ6 is my wife's touring bike. The FJR is my touring bike. She really likes shredding on her 636, but is actually amazed at how well her FZ6 handles. The FZ6 is an amazing bike for the money. We bought hers brand new last year for $6K otd.

The pictures I posted were taken last summer on our annual ride. One was taken in front of a motel in Bozeman, MT and the other was taken somewhere in Colorado or Idaho, can't remember. We did 5500 miles in 8 days. Neither bike skipped a beat.

Just bought an new Red 06 for my sweetie as well.

We're both pumped as my FJR and her Fazer6 are both do to arrive next week .... YEAH BABY !!!!! :hyper:

Love the pics OrangevaleFJR. We're looking at setting things up like you guys. The pic was an inspiration for my better half..( She is watching as I type <lol> :airkiss: )
