Why yes, I am a Smart ASS
Went for a ride (with Jugen) to finally check this place out.
The owner, Bob, was a real nice feller.
The place was spralling over about 4 acres, I would guess. Very open area. The pool did not yet have any water in it and the lake was pretty low as it is just rain fed. The shop is set up for 99.999% for the cruising crowd. Its a pretty spacious place decorated with wooden boat models and old HD bikes. The cabins IIRC were renting for $70 a night. It is definitely a place out in the middle of nowhere. The scenery was nice and the roads were fair. Have a good map or GPS to find it though, and follow the road to its end. the road just keeps getting smaller and smaller. Distance is about 2 hours NW of Birmingham and about an hour N of Jasper.
The kitchen offered a breakfast buffet and a short grill for lunch. Canned cokes were $1 each. If you are in that part of the state it may be a nice little rest stop. The only other MC resort I have to compare it against is 29 Dreams.
