Well the lady riding the bike looks nice.

As for the bike, meh.......

Dunno Bug. Checked one out at the local dealer and it sits kinda phunny. I get the whole retro thing but it's gotta work, and this one doesn't for me...

Ahh damn George, I was going to by you one for Christmas but never mind.

Thanks for the in person review, only saw it on line however I do agree with Fontanaman, the chick helps make the bike look better.

I rented one of those 950's in Hawaii last year, it was not the SCR, underpowered and bruised my tailbone. Not a good experience.

Belt on dirt or gravel is asking for high dollar maintenance. all it takes is one pebble to pop a belt!

Yes please do get on of these for --G. That way I can buy his 15 FJR.

The SCR looks fine too. It just won't do the things I want to do. Teeth full of bugs, no wind protection, bugs and dirt on me, a naked bike is hard to clean, and at this price point the suspension is likely downright scary.

I had the same engine in my 2012 Star 950T and it never gave me any problems. My only issue was how much of a slug the bike felt with gear and/or an extra rider. To each his own!

Aunt Kelly sat on an XSR 900 when we were in the dealership recently. Retro-looking street bike. Momma Yama already offers the 950cc Bolt. Now another 950 retro-looking street bike?

Two bikes with the same engine, another within a teaspoon's displacement, and we can't get a choice of colors on an FJR? Whasssup wit dat?

All that R&D going into those new model lines, no wonder they can't afford to put cancelling signals on our feejers.
