A little video from the North Shore of the Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia during the Apres CFR ride. The video features the St Anns section and Cape Smokey of the Cabot Trail.

Orson Welles... Citizen Kane.... :p

Unfortunately I missed out on some truly great video from North Mountain & Pleasant Bay since my camera battery got used up before we got there and my spare battery was sitting at home instead of in my tank bag. Don't ask... :angry2:

VERY nice, 'fitter !

Yup, too bad about the battery and missing the moose-encounter ;)

Did anyone have any problems playing this video??

My Canadian Tire computer is having a case of the blue screen of death about 3/4 of the way through.

If it's not the video then it's time to use this laptop as a boat anchor for a small dingy and get an Apple.

Good to go... maybe if bandwidth a problem, you have to let it play once jerkily, or pause it while it loads and replay once fully loaded. I viewed it in YouTube.

Get a MAC, mac, you'll never go back..

..of course I write this from a pc I built in 03...

I was using Firefox 5 browser and it was death on this POS. I am now having success using IE9 but I'm getting tired of this Windows crap. I see a bright shiny apple on my desk in the near future. They are releasing the new Macbook Pros in a few weeks...hummmmm

*seems* to me youtube vid downloads vary due to the time of day... when their servers are busy, it can be painfully slow. But early AM is very fast, even with the same browser and same vid...

Nice job with the video. Not lame *** in the least, IMO. Tasteful edits and good music choices. Of course the scenery is what really makes it!!

Sure makes me want to go back and run Cape Smokey again soon. Hell, the whole Cabot. I think could ride that every day for a week and not get bored.

I was able to view you vid no problem on Firefox 5.0 running on WinXP SP3. It did make me go to YouTube but (I think) that's due to the music copyrights.

Thanks for the feedback. I running Vista Ultimate (as in the ultimate in junk) on this laptop and I'm not having problems with the video streaming but the video will hang and then I get the ever popular blue screen of death as the laptop goes for a memory dump.

I only have this issue with YouTube videos when running the Firefox browser. Under IE9 it's OK. I've done some diagnostics on the computer and a full defrag on the hard drives but there is something conflicting with Firefox that's making this laptop go....

BOOM!!!!

I hope I haven't blown my chance for an award at the upcoming FredW Lame *** Film Festival at NERDS :(

I'll bring my Copper Canyon video and we can laugh at BeemerDon's lame *** attempt at crossing the Rio Urique.
