I was visiting my sister in Atascadero last November; while there I rented a H/D Wideglide for two days. I was perusing some maps that I got at the C of C in Atascadero, and happened on the Naciemento Road as an option for a 'day ride' .
It turned out to be one of the BEST dayrides for me EVER ! Wunnerful ! I love that part of Northern California anyway ! And, on a bike, with nice weather, it can't be beat.
The H/D that I rented was a piece of junk that IMHO never was maintained. The front forks were on the springs all the time (no dampening or rebound protection). I hit a couple of corners kinda fast, and went over the center once (not good!).
