Well boys, the wait is over. I picked her up on Saurday and have put about a 150 miles on her so far. A little bit different from the FJR for sure. The riding position is in a word painful, but I understand time will assist with the adaptation to the superbike persona. It's going to take some time for the bonding process but I fee that a very intimate relationship lies ahead. I'm trying to break her in with some patience so I haven't begun to explore the performance limits - but what I've seen so far I like. It sure is fun haveing a new toy -

Ducati has always made a beautiful & fun ride  ....hope you enjoy it (you'll find it will be the most fun on track days where you can really use it up to it's potential).....just not sure of the "arrest Me" red colour on the street...."honest officer I was parked here the whole time" :dntknw: .... :innocent: .....

As I've said before, IMHO "if it's Italian, it's got to be RED".

I used to say yes to that but now say no only because "a red flag to a bull" is the same as "a red Duc to a police officer".....so I prefer stealth on the streets these days..... that's why I'm glad my FJR is Cerulean Blue.... it's under the radar per say ;) .....

I'm so jealous! Love those bikes. I would love to have one in the yellow. My daughter has a 749 dark and I finally got to ride if a few weeks ago. It was a real kick to ride..but I would never part with the FJR. My husband has a wing and a Busa..he was talking about selling the Busa and buying a 1098. Of course, I never say NO when it comes to more bikes! Especially when I get to ride them too!
