Nice ride report and great photos. I need to ride Sonora Pass again..... love that pass.
Let me know when you come to ride it! You can stay at my place and I will join you on that 108 romp. I am an hour and half (no stops) away from the beginning of Hwy 108 in Sonora.

Hey! It's you again!! :p

Thanks Sam!

Great report.
Your note about zebras reminded me of the time I saw zebras at Hearst Castle many years ago.

Also good to see pics of Brian and the Warfamily.
I had taken some pictures before of the Zebras and Water Buffalos to be found south of here in the countryside, I was just on the hunt for more and better shots. The Ostriches and Emus I didn't get a chance to photograph, I will get them one of these days!

I'm jealous. DId you read my horror story ride report? Wish I coulda spent the holiday onboard my FJR...

Gary, yes I did. I am paraphrasing to you a comment that a friend of mine posted on my blog. "In my humble opinion, the best of all Memorial Days are those that are 'thoughtful' rather than those that are 'happy'." That was a sweet thing you did for your niece there. I think you spent the holiday very well. Family is great!
