A windshield/screen question

I am waiting on the aftermarketers to make an 06 shield. I want a taller one. My quest is: Do the shields with the bend/flip at the top deflect more air than tha same size shield without the flip? Can I get a +2 flip with + 4 straight protection?

Yes, they deflect more air, but they also create more turbulence.

You get varied responses from those who have had them. Some swear by the flip. Others hate it. But over the last couple years my observation is that most prefer windscreens without the flip.

Personal choice. Rolls the dice, flip the coin.

I've used the same size CeeBailey's with and without the flip. At my size (6'2" x 32" inseam) the flip gives me a lot of turbulence (read: head buffet). At my body heighth (from butocks to head) must put me in the center of the turbulent airstream. YMMV

And I ain't no techno-god, like Mr. SkooterG, I'm just reportin' whut happened tuh me.
