ABS Superbrace

In the other POS forum Gryphon mentioned that his returned, modified-for-ABS Superbrace was cut way down in overall material.

Is this true? Do new ones have less material running across or do they simply have a notch? The website shows no pictures, so it is hard to tell.

I am interested in the MCL version, which only has a notch (and comes in black, which I prefer), and with this information and MCL's pending sale, this is a no-brainer.

It's smaller from left to right... not just a notch. I'll see if I have a picture someplace.
