Accomplished two new feats today

Went for a 2-up ride today for lunch, across Sam's Gap into Asheville, NC.

My S.O. is a great pillion rider, I have to say. Not once did she complain today, and there were a couple firsts for us riding two up.

We dragged pegs together! Both sides! (just my pegs, but it was a first for us two up!)

Not only that, but the end result was a complete de-chicken-striping of the rear. All I have left a few crumbs of chicken breading here and there!

I've never done that on the FJR before. I've always been close, but not quite there.

I've had the FJR 3 weeks and drug my right pegs the day after I got her with my wife on the back. I did it again even worse this past weekend on Highway 28 between Highlands, NC and Walhalla, SC. It's never my intention to drag the pegs but I guess I'm too used to the ZZR cornering clearance. It's even more of an "OH CRAP" feeling with a pillon.
