Adjusting the handlebars

Has anyone adjusted the handlebars on the 06 model? In the owner's manual it says that it should be done by a Yamaha dealer. That's probably because of safety issues.. It shouldn't be that difficult?

The manual came with the bike. Yes, i did get my 06 FJR1300A yesterday

handlebar pullback angle is now three-position adjustable over a half-inch range.

Andy says in an earlier thread that he lives in northern Europe. I guess he isn't the first US bike.
