Hi gang. Just received the Admorelighting GenII easy connector for my topcase. I was looking through the forums and couldn't find this info.

Where is the back lights connector located on the GenII? Is it on the left side of the bike near the air intake? Where they are all bunched up together?

And if you do use this same harness for your top case, where do you run it to exit out at the back of the bike?

Any info welcomed.

The connector on mine is near the air cleaner, left side next to the computer. I bought some connectors from Eastern Beaver and moved it to the back left and added a split for a top case.

I designed that harness setup. I prefer to drill a hole in the upper surface of the tail cone section, just aft of where that rubber grommet/gasket sits. I use a large rubber grommet (large enough for the connector to fit through) to sleeve the bored hole. That makes the Admore harness exit the bike near the bottom center of the top box mounting bracket.

If you don't want/are not comfortable drilling an exit hole, you can exit the tail cone in several different places or exit the rear of the left side panel.

The instructions for that harness include several photos from my prototype, that show my preferred exit of choice. It's personal choice for sure and others have chosen different exit paths. The folks at Admore can send you a PDF of the instructions if you don't have hard copy.
