Ae just STOPS RUNNING

Riding home today and as I was slowing for a stop bike quits running. immediately starts back up and runs again unitl pulling into garage and as I was coasting into garage bike dies again. It immediately starts again. Kill switch in on position both times and bike in paddle shifter mode if that might make a difference. bike is an 07 AE with all recalls complete 5K miles adn never did this before. Any ideas???

Abrupt, light switch type shut-off is electrical. Start by checking the terminals on your battery and be sure they are snug and clean.

Might be an intermittent sidestand switch. Does it only shut down when you are in gear?

Any other symptoms?

Gauge dials swept? High beam & turn signal indicators? If they flashed during the 'events', then you have a Spider issue.

My 07AE used to do the same thing. Turn your idle to 1100 and problem solved.
