I'm thinking it may be time to upgrade my old Stich. Looking at the site, I see that the color choices are much less now. Curious what happened to the old Blue & Red.

Looks like either black or grey going forward.

I'm betting they dropped the red because of color fading. I have seen a few of those that looked more mottled pink than red.

Luckily, I like black. Partly because I like black. Partly because I wanted something that showed dirt less. The lighter the color, the worse the grime appears. That said, I have no idea how aerostich makes their decisions. I just know its the best gear Ive ever used, and Ive never seen any red riding gear age gracefully.

I think we're seeing this more and more. Manufacturers are stocking less and offering less choices in the interest of cost savings. Think Model-T philosophy with color choices...

I have a two piece classic, love the black with blue ballistics!

'Stich is doing limited edition ballistic colors and now has KTM orange and non-Hi-Viz yellow. I bet if you called up and asked for a whole suit in a limited edition color, they'd do it.

Dun got me an old blue w/ hi viz yellow abrasion area (cuz I'm a Rossi fan boi.) 'n the blue is quite faded.

POS only haz a couple hundred thousand hard miles on it!

They got rid of the Blue because they could no longer consistency secure that color. They eliminated it last September -October.
