I was wondering if anyone has seen a aftermarket, maybe billet, cover for both the brake and clutch reservior. I want to modify one that is smooth on top instead of the stock one with put the cast in warning dangers. I'm thinking of putting a XM radio antenna and if it's flat I think it would be easier.

I thought I saw one but have come up empty handed doing searches here and other places.

Also does anyone have a provider of a lockable oil filler cap?

My thanks in advance!

I filed mine flat in about 5 minutes. Make sure to drag the file with both hands, parallel to your body.

I took mine to the belt sander....nice satin finish in 60 seconds, tops. WARNING:the part gets hot when pressed against the sanding belt, wear gloves. :) :) :) When finished, seal with a clear coat of Duplicolor clear coat laquer. If it gets scratched....re-sand and re-clear.

I'm like jestal and barabus... I took my Dremel tool to the surface when I needed a mounting location for my Smarttire monitor... mounted a small plastic wedge there to get the display to face my eyes... easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy.

Thanks guys for the input. One of the other reasons I wanted a spare cover was to modify it to hook up to a power bleeder when I change out the lines on the clutch and brakes.

Still looking for info on a lockable oil filler cap?
