I'm looking for an aftermaket rear shock in good shape, say a Penske, Ohlins, Wilbers, or a Works Performance. I am 190lbs. As far as the exhaust "garyahouse" beat me to Skooter's Staintune, so maybe a Leo Vince, Holeshot, or a PipeWerx. I live in Nova Scotia Canada.

It is for a 2003 FJR.

Beowulfs eh? Need to check some sounds on youtube. I listened to a few last night, Two Brothers and Remus, they both sound good.

Have had mine on my 09 for about 750 miles over the last 8 weeks and my buddy has had his on his 06 for 1200 miles over 12 weeks. I run with the baffles in, he prefers the baffles out, but either way it is literally 30 seconds to switch back and forth. The ovals with the chrome tips are sharp looking, I went with black/chrome, he went with stainless/chrome. The customer service at Beowulf was awesome as well. PS - and the ovals look great with the bags on or off and sound even better.

steve 'o' you will not be sorry & should have them in time for a Cinco de Mayo ride. I got mine used for $265 delivered and lovde them.

Run baffles in but as others have pointed out even a dumb bastard like myself can change in 60 seconds or less. Of course if you are as

talented and good looking as whereismyrodzilla they will change whenever you wish it to happen, honest.

Cinco de Mayo is the 5th of May, big Mexican holiday in the southwest and a very good excuse to drink

tequila & do stupid shit. Just saying by next weekend your shit eating grin will last longer after

hearing those cans howl!!!!!!

Don't need exhaust now! Got me some brand new Beowulfs coming! :D Still looking for an aftermarket rear shock though. Does anyone know if there will be another group buy on suspension this year? I would consider going that route also.

I just priced Race-Tech and mentioned the forum to Michelle and she offered 10% off the front Springs, Gold Kit, oil.. and 5% off the back RT G3-S RSSYA 01RRNR Remote Reservoir, Rebound Adjust Ride Height, Hydraulic Preload full monty.. I wonder how many buyers it takes for an official group buy?

Real close to pulling the trigger..
