Just curious as to see what age the members of this forum are. I'm 55 and I have been quite suprised by the number of older FJR riders.

Regardless of age, ride safe.

I think this poll has been done before...

...and if I recall, the results weren't pretty. Most of us I think were considered to be on death's doorstep...havin' fun on our way though :)

Remember life is a journey, not a destination.

My take is that aging is the celebration of survival. I've younger friends that incestantly moan about getting older. I quickly point out the alternative. Ride on!!

Amen to that. I just turned 50. The owner of the company I work for died last night. He was 58. A good reminder to do the most I can with every day I have. You just never know.

Given FJR demographics, I hear the '08 owners manual has a tear out coupon in the back for a free screening colonoscopy!

The good news is that at 40, I can still pick the 30-40 rather than the 40-50 :) Unless there's a senior discount I'm missing?

:yahoo: +1 Greg, that's exactly what I say all the time to my co-workers when they start whining about this or that in their lives, I just reply, be glad you woke up today and have the ability to whine about something, think of the alternative!

Just turned 52 on February 5th and feeling blessed everyday!

20% off coupon for Depends, then some of the old farts will think they have a custom seat. :D

You know, pretty much from age-18 onward, you learn to accept the phrase "bend over and relax". The only real difference is the reason it is said.

Military draft physical

College book costs

Pediatrician bill

Tax return

Mortgage closing costs

Attorney fee

Colonoscopy

Many of my 20-something military conditioned neighbors freely admit to struggling when trying to keep up with my 40-something ***! Bend over and try to relax.

:)

geeeez -- while my drivers license says i'm 52, I still feel like i'm in my 30's.... but these damn AARP folks keep sending me magazines and cards reminding me of the reality!! so, i'm trying to enjoy life each and every day. and that includes some fjr time weekly (regardless of temps!!). ride on folks (safely) :yahoo: jay
