A friend of mine is a die-hard harley fan, hey to each their own, and he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but the cop on this harley ain't too sahbby of a rider. click on th link https://www.wimp.com/donniewilliams/ The feed on the video isn't the best so if you choose to go to you-tube you can see the same run by Officer Donnie Williams.

That was Very Impressive, especially on a 900+ lb. Harley with ape bars.

About the "sharpest tool" thing; it doesn't matter who's down or up, when it comes to the final play of endurance when you weigh serious practice and skill against (?). In the end it's 'bout who's got it and who ain't.

Simply amazing what those guys can do. Wonder if a course like that is easier to do on a Harley, BMW RT, or ST1300/Concours. My bet is on the Harley with it's lower center of gravity and more upright seating position.

That guy must be smarter than most cops and Harley riders I know. Hell, he's probably smarter than me, how he was able to remember where he had to go and which way to turn while still riding that smooth I can't imagine.

A few years ago I was at Miller Motor Sports by SLC for some vintage road races and they were having a motor cop rodeo at the same time. I watched more motor cops than road races and they were all within a few tenths on the timer. Totaly amazing skill. I wonder how many bikes I would total before I cleared the course once. :)

Holy ship! That cop makes me feel like I still have training wheels on. Oh wait, I still do!

And somebody spent some major time laying out that course, must have well over a thousand cones

So true, I wish I had half of his skill in riding.

After watching the guys practice yesterday it appears that the BMW has the edge on most of those competitions followed closely by the Harley's. The ST's and the Concours ran about the same (slower times than the BMW and Harley's) and the Victory's were hit and miss with their longer wheel base creating some issues with the tight maneuvers.
