Pony....per our last conversation.....I TOLD YOU that those high speed pursuits would get someone hurt...!!!! :p :p :p

All kidding aside... Sorry to hear about your situation. The idea of doing a face plant like that about makes me faint thinking about it. One of the worst sorts of things I can imagine suffering thru. You should have definitely used the other guy as a cushion...or battering ram as the case may be.

Hope you feel better soon and hope the teeth "take". Fixing damaged teeth is never fun and never happens fast.

BTW...thanks for the warning about the pictures!

Yo yo yo yo! my man! now you can get a "GRILL" paid for by da MAN!

Some Gold teefeses with a diamond in da middle, always some sharp bling!

Move on up to an undercover Det. B)

Next time use your gun. I don't think your face could survive another ballerina twirl

Glad you are in no worse shape, man. Heal fast.

And don't worry about those teeth. If they don't "take", just start dipping Skoal and move to Alabama. You'll fit right in.

Pony, glad you're gonna be OK ! Your medical covers all this stuff, right ???

Pictures you posted were pretty darn good, not for the squeamish, but good. Reminds me of why I use a full face helmet now instead of the 3/4.

I have decided that my first day back at work, I'm going to wear my helmet into roll call just for the fun of it.

Damn Pony ..............

You have two options.....

1) Eat less donuts so you can run faster........

2) Eat more donuts so you can cushion the fall ........

Remember even though its against your training.........eat them drugs, kill the pain ! :D

Get well soon PF.

I agree with fjrfencer. Just shoot the SOB, you carry a throwdown piece don't ya.

You probably aren't going to be asked to be on the policemans charity calender now. :D

Get well, and move on. jr.

Glad you're alive and laughing about it. It's hard to fathom what you guys face every day. We'll be praying for your fast recovery. You da man!!! :clapping:

I had appendicitis, I didn't like being ***** one bit. :dribble:

Glad your neck & back aren't fubar. Try to save a bit of wear & tear on the OEM parts & heal up.

Cripes bud .. That's just some nasty pics. Good things chicks dig scars...or so my friends tell me.

Seriously though. Glad you're ok. Remind me sometime to tell you about my buddy who's in the canine unit. The stories he has to tell about the criminal element and their interactions with his 4 legged partner.... Has me in stitches.

Heal quick.

Hey, PF !!
How are you doing, dude? Healing up? Give us an update !!
Actually, I am doing tremendously well. I saw the doc yesterday and have an appointment with the oral surgeon on Tuesday. My swollen lip is back to normal (I don't look like Bart Simpson or a platypus anymore), the cuts on the nose are healing well, and most of the pain has subsided where all I need now is ibuprofen. I never got the huge black and blue face I was expecting, so that's nice too!

I go back to limited duty at work, basically desk stuff, on Wednesday. Remember, the goal here was just to get Christmas off! I won't know how long I'll be off the street until after I see the oral surgeon. I can't bite into anything, and I do mean anything. Any pressure on my top teeth sends me through the roof. The only thing I can use my upper front teeth for is to pull stuff off my fork or spoon, as long as it isn't stuck. I can chew with my back teeth, so I'm not on as much a liquid diet I thought I'd be on.

All of the other bumps and bruises are slowly going away as well. My left ring finger is still sore, but doing very well.

All in all, I would say I'm doing pretty damn good considering! I appreciate everyone's support. Thanks for asking!

They had grand jury on the guy we were chasing and it was a true bill on all charges (reckless driving, felony elude, possession of a controlled substance, and at least one other, but I can't remember).

Have a speedy recovery Scott and thanks for sharing the full story of your chase... :clapping:

(Actually I thought that was pretty well written, all the way to the rough landing.)

Take care and catch us some more bad guys. This time, though, trip'em up with your bat-boomerang or something

Well I'm glad for that. No telling wht the final outcome will be once the court-appointed lawyer begins the plea bargaining process. Wouldn't it be loverly should they throw the book at the, uhm, er, misunderstood, poor self-esteem suffering accused perpetrator.

Scott, its great news to her that you are recovering at a rather quick pace. The teeth are going to take a longer time as the nerves have to reconnect and the soft tissue around the roots has to "settle". I suppose you can get used to puree'd steak, and its not funny discovering how tough pie crust really is. Still, if the teeth will reconnect and live, it'll be much better than having a partial or bridgework. Uhm, don't ask how I know.
