Was at top cruising speed in right lane when a large black suv decides to make a left to get into a gas station, only problem was that it was in my path!!

I had the rear locked up and the front on hard while drift/steering to the right. I'm looking at the lady passenger and can see her gasp and yell to the driver when she sees me and he stops the suv and I release the binders to ride past them.

Oh, I forgot to mention that my cruising speed was 22mph in the bicycle lane!! I was out hammering on my road bicycle this morning. Cages are dangerous everywhere. Actually, I feel more vulnerable on my bicycle than on the FJR.

I ride to work every day, 25 miles one way. And every trip someone tries something. The sooner it happens, the better, I can then enjoy the rest of the ride. The longer I have to wait, the more nervous I get. ;)

You should get the ABS version for better control. ;)

Good to hear there was no contact. Hope your flat spot isn't too bad.

"C'mon, give it up, what size chicken strips do you have on that rig?"

The micrometer can't even measure that width! Heck, it barely measures the tire width with 110 psi :D
