FYI, I just got a notice from Amazon that Alton Brown's 2007 "Feasting on Asphalt: The River Run" will release on DVD on April 1. Personally, we don't get Food Network on our cable so I'm looking forward to it. I know others here said they really enjoyed watching it while it was on. It's 34% off on pre-buy ($18.15). Sounds worth it just to avoid the commercials. LINK. No affiliation, YMMV, etc.

Not much in the way of motorcycles/riding shown. Mostly about eating here, eating there, eating everywhere...

I suppose somebody on this thread, or a food forum, will start complaining about how this forum is too much about riding and not enough about eating fine food....

And... scroll down to the "Ohmygawd!" thread in this section to read about my encounter with A. Brown while filming this segment.

I like riding, and I like food, so I thought the show was worth whatching. Mostly about those awesome roadside diner type stops, which Is part of the adventure of a long distance ride. By adventure, I mean 2/3 of them are bad :puke: , but once in a while you find a rare gem.

I have seen most of those episodes and really enjoyed them. I like Alton Brown in general and putting the show on the road with motorcycles just makes it that much better. BMW must have kicked in some bucks because there is BMW stuff all over the place - bikes, clothes, etc.
