AMA/Lifelock

I have some concerns about identity theft so I was thinking about trying Lifelock. I read in the last issue of AMA that they are offering a 30 day free trial or something for AMA members. I tried to look it up on the AMA website but I cant get on it for some reason...

So 2 questions then. Does anyone have the promotion code from the latest AMA magazine? Does anyone know what is up with the AMA website?

Just FYI, you can do a fraud alert with the credit bureaus for free. You just have to renew it every three months. Basically, they have to call you at the number you specify before they'll give your credit info to anyone. The three credit bureaus share the alert, so you only have to do one and it automatically sends it to the two other companies.

I'm not sure what lifelock does, but I know this is a major component. If they do more or you don't want to have to remember to renew it, it may be worth their fees.
