The 2009 Supercross season kicks off Sat. night live on Speed channel.

Many riders have switched teams (Stewart and Reed to name a few)

We are again rooting for Windham and Canard!!!!!!!

I'm hoping Bubba has a perfect season.

Bad for racing, but I can't stand Reed anyway. I always cheer when Stewart passes that guy (especially when he falls in turn one and has to come from dead last).

Go James!

Can't wait to see them in person at Indy!

Thanks for the heads up.

A1 was an interesting race what with the tangle between Stewart & Reed. Reed was finally showing some speed that will be required to stay in front of Bubba during the season. Supercross makes good TV, but I still prefer the outdoor nationals as that (IMHO) is a better gauge of the better rider OVERALL. Supercross is really all about jumps & whoops.

At least a Yamaha posted the win!

Go Blue.

biknflyfisher (who still has an '83 IT 490 in the garage, who says there are no living dinosaurs).

Watched A1 on speed last night.

Chad looks lighter & in better shape than in previous years, I'm sure he wants to prove he can race with a healthy Stewart.

It looks like it's going to be an exciting year, James will be pushing hard to make up the lost points.

I was really bummed to see Stewart lying there with his bell ringing. It almost seemed like Reed was quick enough to be competitive and overcome his definitive "best of the rest" status he's had, well, since he got here. It was great seeing Grant get the win. I'm sure if he keeps up that pace there'll be another race or two he can grab from the superstars after they wreck.

Any news on that Lights rider that cut the course?
