What is the main difference/s between the FJR sold in the states vs sold in Europe? I'm not concerned about cosmetic differences. The reason I ask is I noticed the map download offered by Dynojet for their PC V for a European bike fitted with Beowulf slip-ons. The bike I purchased last week was produced in the US and fitted with Beowulf slip-ons by the previous owner. I don't have much experience with Beowulf, but what I have read about their custom shop in the UK, it seems like the quality is there - we'll see. Very close sound to Remus. Will this map work on my '08 FJR?

It should work, do you have the Autotune? I think the difference would be EPA stuff on the bike, I can send you 4 maps that another fourm member had made on the dyno in FL. Performance and 3 Economy maps, you will need to add a switch to flip between 2 maps on the fly. I also have a map from Fuel Moto for the PC5 w/ Autotune. send me a PM with your e-mail if you want a copy.

P.S. Say hi to your lovley wife for me and Deborah, the last time we saw her was in Cancun on our Arbonne trip, she was in the pool with a shark..lol :D

Maybe differences in emmissions requirements for different countries, and French bikes have a restricted intake to limit power. Tiny electrical differences, like flash-to-pass on European bikes, which we don't have.

I don't have the PC V or Autotune on my 09, but I do have the carbon fiber Beowulf slip-ons and it is amazing. The sound is great (baffles out) and the bike just feels a bit more livelier than it did with the stock exhaust.

Primary gearing differences as well.

(Further proof that I remember everything that does me absolutely no good whatsoever)

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input.

Marcus, I will take you up on your offer of the maps. I do not have an Autotune, but heavily looking at one trying to decide if I truly need one with a custom map provided by someone. What do you think? BTW, Charlotte told me to tell you and Deborah, hello. The picture with the shark is pretty cool. Hope you guys are doing well.
