So I bought the bike 1 year old. I have no idea where and what the adjustments are for the suspension past the lever that says 'hard/soft'. I am 230 pounds with aerostich and for sure, the front feels a little soft. I also seem to have that 'weeble' feel to turns that I really don't like.

Where to start? I assume to first see what the thing is set at, right?

is there a tutorial somewhere with pictures?

Is there a good thread on methodology or rough settings to start with?

Is there a 'you know it's too far when..."?

For your viewing pleasure it's in my signature line below. You can thank Haulinashe (Jeff) for the excellent right up.

"I would encourage anyone interested in doing some careful experimentation. CHECK AND RECORD YOUR EXISTING SETTINGS, KNOW WHAT YOUR STOCK SETTINGS SHOULD BE, WRITE DOWN YOUR CHANGES. All it takes is two minutes and a screwdriver to set everything back if you don't like it."

This is the best and most unused advice from Jeff's write up. If you want to maximize the performance of your suspension, you have to get out spend some time and test the various settings. Just to adopt another riders settings as your own may give you some improvements, but it may not!
