Nuts! Right click and save as. Come back in 6 minutes. The Dragon is for wusses and girls - so are helicopter rides. ;)

Ok I think that was more (way more) corners than the Dragon (I lost count around 7,000) but watching the middle rider lean to the outside of every corner just hurt my brain. I think I need to ride that road!

PS I am pretty sure that this was not RUSH had in mind by "workin man" but a awesome song for the road!!

PPS TWN I really think you need to step up on behalf of all of the CA FJR riders and take me for a ride up there this Nov!

Sure, if the road isn't closed. It climbs to Quaking Aspen at about 6,800', so it's prone to winter weather. I have a nifty, 2 day route on roads leading to and from that little piece of heaven that will leave you breathless. ;)

YAWN!!! Looks like a road my grandma who take on with a Harley!

If you boys want to take on a technical road, come on over to AZ and try out US-191 between Morenci and Alpine. 90 miles (yes we know how to ride for more than a few minutes around here) of tight technical riding with a 3000+ foot elevation change between the start of the ride and the end.

This was one of many fun sections of my ride last week. This was south of Lewiston dropping into Rattlesnake Canyon, which I think drops about 4000' and then climbs back out.

This is a rough map of the whole route. I tried to do it in MS Maps, etc, but it got wonky. I need to play with that more.

Man, I had a great time!!!!

...I think I should have posted this in ride reports, maybe.

hahaaa  OWNED!

TWN, I will be in SD. SB is 200+ miles to meet up. And.. looks like 190 is about 1/3 of the state away. If CA was WV I could be there in an hour of two but I recall spending a day and a half on I-5 from OR to Palm Springs once. That is too far given my time constraints. But me's thinks I will need to come to ride the Mighty. :( Anything closer to SD?

You may wanna ping Barabus. He's all jinky with the roads from OC south. Maybe Hwy 74 - Ortega Hwy or Palomar Mountain? I'm not a frequent rider down there, so I don't wanna mislead you. But, if you can make 190 (leave a couple of days at least), I'd be happy to tour-guide you.

:good:
