Today we had a little shake down run before out trip to Canada.

As those of you who live in SoCal probably know last week they reopened Angeles Crest Highway.

We thought it would be fun to go have a look at the new bridge and get some lunch at Newcombs Ranch, What we didn't know was that Jorstin was gonna show up sporting a Mohawk (see poll in separate thread).

We decided to meet at the Mickey Dee's at the 15 and 138.

We left there and headed up 138 to pick up Highway 2, I had never been up this road before as I don't ski and that the only place it went for the last 9 years.

We stopped several times along the way to take pictures and one time we stopped Bill had the idea that we should haul *** round the turn while he takes video, who am I to argue about that.

Steve's attempt

Roy's attempt

My attempt

I did think Roy would move out of the way for this.......

Bills attempt is on his camera so he can post that.

Here is our first stop

While we were screwing around making the videos 3 sport bikes (2 CBR 600's and 1 CBR1000), shortly after we continued on our way we came up on one of them by the side of the road, I flipped a ***** and went back to check on they guy but he was fine with only minor damage to his bike..

Richard, this is a little off-topic, but do you have aftermarket suspension bits on your motorbike?

(I know I shoulda looked while you were up here, but I never got close enough. )

...and this ride report is way better than your 36 report.

HAHA Michael, thats because it was fresh in my mind.....

And yes I have a penske on the rear and PR2's.

This ride report sucked!!!!No pictures of the food. Why the hell did you even go on a ride if your not going to get good pics of the food.
You should change your forum name to, "Food Monster". Are you riding with us tomorrow?
No got stuff to do. It's hard to get out when you have 20 month old twins.

Richard: Very nice ride report and great seeing you fine gents out having fun! I love the bold striping on Bill and your FJR's!

Also love your Corbin Smuggler. If I could find one cheap, I'd have one in a London minute. Color coordinate it silver-blue.
